  • Rangitata Rail Bridge Damage - with recent high rain fall the Rangitata Rail Bridge has suffered significant damage which will cause delays to freight moving via rail from Christchurch to Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin & Invercargill.  Return freight will also be impacted.  Expect freight to be delayed by 24 - 48 hours until the bridge is repaired.

  • Brynderwyn Road Closure - The NZTA has announced its intention to commence construction activities on the Bryderwyn Hills section of SH1 starting from February 26. As a result, freight providers will be required to take an alternative route through the Northland area, thereby extending their journey by an additional two hours or 150 kilometers. Any palletized freight destined for this region during the SH1 closure will be subject to a re-route surcharge per consignment.
